Visitation is scheduled
for Wednesday, June 7, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 a.m.
Services to be conducted at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu’e Public
Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Borthwick/Kaua”i Mortuary.
James Reinicker
James L. Reinicker of
Princeville, Kaua’i, died Thursday at Cooper Hospital/University Medical
Center, Camden.
Mr. Reinicker, formerly of Haddonfield, was the owner and
operator of Reinicker & Son, a landscape business in Haddonfield, NJ. He
retired in 1989 and moved to Kaua’i.
He was an Army veteran and a member of
Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Haddonfield and also of Lihue.
He is
survived by his wife, Charlotte A. “Mikki” Reinicker; two sons, James L.
Reinicker Jr. of Pittsburgh and Andrew L. (Amy) Reinicker of Haddonfield; three
daughters, Dawn L. (Tim) Garvey of Marlton, Michael L. (John B.) Kennedy of
Tampa, Fla., and Tobitha-Lin (Michael) Speas of Voorhees; New Jersey; one
brother, William of Madison, Wis.; one sister, Normal Reilly of Cleveland,
Ohio; and seven grandchildren and two nieces.
A memorial service will be
held later this summer at Lihue Lutheran Church so his children can be present.
Burial will be private.

Robert G. Preitauer
Robert G. Preitauer, of Wailua
Homesteads, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 27, 2000, at the age
of 86.
Born in Gothenburg, Nebraska on May 26, 1914, he was a retired
Insurance Broker with Farmers Insurance Co. in California and an active Lions
Club member for 45 years.
He is survived by: his wife: Anita Preitauer
of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai; two sons: Bradford (Donna) Preitauer and Paul
Preitauer, both of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai; two daughters: Galann (Chris)
Maag of Hornbrook, Calif. and Sheri Wahl of Kapolei, Oahu; nine grandchildren;
two brothers: John Preitauer of Ogalala, Neb. and Donald Preitauer of Grand
Island, Neb.; two sisters: Alberta (Eldred) Wilhelmsen and Fracine (Ronald)
Jenkins, both of North Platte, Nebraska; numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Service were private. Arrangements are being handled by Garden
Island Mortuary, Ltd.
