Ruth Saiki Larsen, of Honolulu, O’ahu, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital

on May 1, 2000, at the age of 89.

Born in Hilo, Hawai’i on Dec. 26, 1910,

she is survived by: two brothers: Rupert (Lillian) Saiki of Hilo, Hawai’i and

Ronald (Donna) Saiki of Hilo, Hawai’i; two sisters: Minerva (Hiroshi) Hayakawa

of Hilo, Hawai’i and Leinani Lum of Washington; numerous nieces and

nephews.

Services were private. Arrangements are being handled by Garden

Island Mortuary, Ltd.
