Memorial Hospital on May 14, 2000, at the age of 82. Born in Honolulu, Oahu,
on May 12, 1918, she was a retired Florist with Flowers Forever in Lihue.
She is survived by: one daughter: Linda Miller of Kapaa, Kauai; one
granddaughter: Lisa Miller of Santa Monica, Calif., four brothers: Maui
Ogata of Honolulu, Oahu, Paul (Arline) Matsunaga of Hanapepe, Kauai, George
Matsunaga of Lihue, Kauai, and Harold Matsunaga of Lihue, Kauai; two sisters:
Michie Hironaka of Lihue, Kauai and Mildred (Don) Chang of Honolulu, Oahu;
numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held
at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapaa,
with Father Malcolm Miner officiating. Casual attire is suggested and that
flowers be omitted.

Sixto F. Hafalla
Sixto F. Hafalla of Koloa, Kauai, died
at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 10, 2000, at the age of 93.
Born in
Santa Lucia, Philippines on April 6, 1907, he was a retired Mechanic with David
Chang Construction Co.
He is survived by: his wife: Carol Hafalla of
Koloa, Kauai; one son: Roy (Nora) Hafalla of Puhi, Kauai; two grandchildren;
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family
from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 19, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Burial
will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 20, at the Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested.

George Boiser
George Boiser, of Hanamaulu,
Kauai, died at home on May 13, 2000, at the age of 85.
Born in Lihue,
Kauai on Feb. 14, 1915, he was a retired stevedore with McCabe, Hamilton &
Renny Co. in Nawiliwili.
He is survived by: two sons: Gilbert Funes of
San Francisco, Calif. and Vincent G. Boiser, Sr. of Kapahi, Kauai; two
daughters: Yvonne Kaialoa of Millbrae, Calif. and Georgiana Boiser-Nunes of
Wailua, Kauai; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine
great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Charles (Doreen) Monroid of Wailua,
Kauai; one sister: Katherine Boiser Layosa of Kapaia, Kauai; numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on
Friday, May 19, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Service
officiated by Father Paul will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at the
Kaua’i Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be
omitted.
