of Honolulu, Oahu and Marlene (Daryl) Taniguchi of ‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i; four
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the
family at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, at the West Kaua’i Hongwanji, Hanapepe
Temple; service officiated by Rev. Ikeda will begin at 5 p.m. Casual attire is
suggested and that flowers be omitted.

Yoshio “Jumbo”
Yoneji, of Kapa’a, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 24, 2000,
at the age of 91. Born in Kealia, Kaua’i on Nov. 13, 1908, he was a retired
Machinist with Hawaiian Fruit Packers.
He is survived by: two sons: Roy
(Irene) Yoneji of Honolulu, Oahu and Richard (Grace) Koigawachi of Torrance,
Calif., daughter: Akie Kashiwai of Honolulu, Oahu; five grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service were
private. Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
