explosive second and final frames, the Menehunes held on to take a 46-44
victory.
Outgunning the Menehunes 18-14 in the second quarter, and surging
to a 24-19 second half, Waimea wrapped up the win behind the hot hand of Ashlee
Vea who picked up game-high 19 points for Waimea.
Belinda Butac fired 12 of
her 16 game points in the final frame to lead the Red Raiders.
