Hirono for the volunteer efforts of Kaua’i’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk

Committee.

The 1999 event provided over $140,000 for Kaua’i’s charities and

non-profit organizations.

The Visitor Industry Charity Walk is scheduled

this year for Saturday, May 20.

Walkers will converge at Kukui Grove Park

and Pavilion at 7 a.m.

The event is sponsored by the Hawai’i Hotel

Association (HHA) Kaua’i Chapter.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Aloha”

represents Kaua’i’s ongoing commitment to the community.
