Guslander
Grace Buscher Guslander of Wailua died April 5, 2000, at her home
at the age of 89.
An executive with the hotel industry at Coco Palms Hotel,
she was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by one
brother: Adam Buscher of California; two step-daughters: Nan Guslander of New
York and Mrs. Lindsay A. Faye Jr. of Koloa; three nieces: Mrs. Kenneth Stehower
of Honolulu, Mrs. Richard Hunt of Canada, and Mrs. Nancy Grinder of
Pennsylvania; one nephew: Henry W. Buscher, Jr. of Hilo; four step
grandchildren and numerous grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may
be sent to Iolani Palace Friends, Kaua’i Historical Society Endowment
Association, and the American Heart Association.
Services are scheduled for
Monday, April 10, at the Lihu’e United Church. Special viewings are from 8:45
a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Casual attire is
suggested. Private entombment will be on O’ahu. Arrangements are being handled
by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
