The Internal Revenue Service and the Hawai’i Department of Taxation will be on
the road again or a repeat performance on Kaua’i.
Mobile Tax Assistance
will be available at the Department of Taxation Office, 3060 Eiwa Street, #105,
in Lihu’e, on Wednesday, March 29, until 4 p.m.
Taxpayers coming to the
site will find an array of free services to help them with their Federal and
State taxes, including the preparation of basic returns. They will also be able
to pick up tax forms and publications, get answers to tax law questions, and
receive help resolving payment problems.
Mobile Tax Assistance is a joint
effort to the IRS and Hawai’i Department of Taxation to bring a full range of
tax assistance to those who need it. Mobile Tax Assistance made its debut on
Kaua’i in February, when it provided assistance to 70 Kaua’i residents.
