March 14, 2000 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 61.
Born June 22, 1938 in Lihu’e, he was a machine operator for Lihu’e
Plantation. He is survived by three sons, Darrell (Dory) Farias
of Kapa’a, Anthony (Stacy) Farias of Anahola, and Stanley (Sherry)
Farias, Jr. of Hanapepe; one daughter, Caprice (Alex) Farias of
Kalaheo; three brothers, Dennis Farias of Hanama’ulu, Frank (Patsy)
Farias, Jr. of Nawiliwili, and Antone (Celeste) Farias of Puhi;
one sister, Marie; mother, Ida Koerte Dar of Hanama’ulu; nine
grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at
Borthwick /Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Service will begin
at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu’e Public Cemetery. Casual
attire is suggested.
