NAWILIWILI – Windspan won two classes in the Nawiliwili Yacht
Club’s fifth race in the Roland Solis Memorial Series.
Windspan, with Jerry McKenna, Tom Cieslak, Mike Myers, Cal Ulberg
and Karen Flynn aboard, won the Monohull and Open Classes.
Malihini, with Doug Gibson, Allan Chatham, Rene Bilodeau and Ester
Felis, won the Multihull Class.
Tim Perry and Brandon Wolfe in a Prindle 19 MX won the Sport Cat
Class.
Obsession was second in the Monohull Class and third in the Open
Class.
Malihini placed second in the Open Class.
– Two KSA soccer game results
Two game reports were sent in from last weekend’s Kaua’i Soccer
Association games.
In the Under-16 Boys Division, the Wailua United beat the Wise
Guys 8-0 on two goals each from Colby Ayonon, Danny Rittmeister
and Mason Chan, and one goal each by Kalei Rodrigues and Tyson
Summers.Girls 8 & Under
In another game, the Westside Girls defeated the Teeny Wahines
3-0 on goals by Jamie Beck, Danielle Canon and Destiny Banasihan.
Chaelyn Briones contributed with an assist, while Breeann Abuan
turned in an outstanding game.
