Teodoro (Alejandra) Basug of Kapa’a; nine grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family may
call on Friday, March 3, at St. Raphael’s Church in Koloa from 9 a.m. to 9:45
a.m. where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua’i
Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being

Olinokuikalani Kaulili of Koloa died Feb. 19, 2000, at Queen’s Hospital at the
age of 78.
A sergeant for Kaua’i Police Department and a U.S. Army veteran
he was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Koloa.
He is survived by his wife: Marjorie
Seto Kaulili of Koloa; six children: Donna (Henry) Kupahu, Doreen Kaulili,
Springwater (Verna) Kaulili, Dianna (Kelley) Phillips, Danette (Kevin)
Takahashi, Debby Kaulili; one brother: Lordie Kaulili; 11 grandchildren, three
great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and
family may call on Saturday March 4, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in
Koloa from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
Burial to follow at Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.

Balfour Kendrick Gibson of Kapa’a died Feb.
23, 2000, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 51.
A chef with the
Hyatt Regency Kaua’i, he was born Aug. 15, 1948, in California.
He is
survived by his wife: Prakong Gibson of Kapa’a; his mother: Anita Gibson of
California; one sister, Bonnie Gibson of California; and two daughters: Heather
Gibson and Marquex Gibson.

p.m.

59.
Born in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines on May 8, 1940, she was a
retired Housekeeper with the Westin Hotel.
She is survived by: two sons:
Edwin Hernandez of Puhi, Kauai and Faustino Hernandez, Jr. of Kapaa, Kauai; two
daughters: Flordeliz Hernandez of Hanamaulu, Kauai and Lynn (Rizal) Constantino
of Puhi, Kauai; six grandchildren; her father: Quintin Sagisi of Kapaa; one
brother: Justo (Evarista) Sagisi of the Philippines; five sisters: Dominga
Alcaraz of Hanamaulu, Kauai, Celedonia Galiza of Puhi, Kauai, Cresencia
(Telesforo) Acojido of Puhi, Kauai, Josephine (Peter) Gascon of Puhi, Kauai,
and Elisa (Escolastico) Adaoag of Fort Washington, MD; numerous uncles, aunts,
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 6-9
p.m. on Friday, March 10, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; rosary to begin
at 7 p.m. Visitation again at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Holy Cross
Catholic Church; service officiated by Father Keahi will begin at 10 a.m.
followed by burial at the Kauai Memorial Gardens cemetery. Casual attire is
suggested.
