She is survived by two daughters: Frances (David) Hamada and Betsy
Ann Fujii, both of Kalaheo; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,
numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be with the family on
Wednesday, March 1, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel beginning at 9 a.m.
Funeral service officiated by Seicho-No-Ie ministry will begin at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens Cemetery in
Kapaia.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Koloa died Feb. 24, 2000, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.
A
homemaker, she was born March 24, 1911, in Koloa.
She is survived by one
daughter: Mathilda (Don) Frazier of California; one son: David S. (Leila)
Vasconcelles; one daughter-in-law: Katherine Vasconcelles of Koloa; one sister:
Katie (Pat) Viveiros of Lawai; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren;
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday,
Feb. 29, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa from 3 p.m. where Mass will
be celebrated at 4 p.m. Burial to follow at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church
Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
