PO’IPU — Jessie Felipe was recently named 1999 Employee of the Year at Po’ipu Bay Resort Golf Course here. Felipe works in the golf maintenance department, and has been with Po’ipu Bay since June of 1990. As Employee of the

and has been with Po’ipu Bay since June of 1990.
As Employee of the Year,
Felipe was selected from the field of 1999 Employee of the Quarter winners. He
was recognized as an Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter.

Po’ipu Bay 1999 Employees of the Quarter were: Gaudy Andres, golf maintenance,
first quarter; Gerry Coyaso, golf maintenance, and Makani Taniguchi, guest
services, second quarter; Keiji Haraguchi, guest services, and Charlie
Hiramoto, pro shop, third quarter; and Melinia Villanueva, golf maintenance,
and Frank Cunningham, pro shop, fourth quarter.
Po’ipu Bay’s quarterly
employee awards are based on nominations made by department supervisors,
commending employees in the areas of attendance, conscientiousness, attitude,
efficiency, innovation, guest service and aloha spirit.
