Hertrudes Calamasa Tango of Kekaha, Kauai, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial
Hospital on Feb. 14, 2000, at the age of 89.
Born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on July 25, 1910, she is survived
by: two sons: Owen (Merna) Tango of Kekaha, Kauai and Antone (Irene) Tango of
Gardena, Calif., four daughters: Darlene (Warren) Haney of Honolulu, Oahu,
Feliza Natividad of Waimea, Kauai, Victoria (Herbert) Banua of Kekaha, Kauai
and Magdalena Mayo of Honolulu, Oahu; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren;
and five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 21,
at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kekaha; memorial Mass officiated by
Father Pablo will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Pablo Y. Yasay of Kapaia, Lihue, Kauai, died in the Philippines on Jan. 24,
2000, at the age of 90.
Burial was in a Roman Catholic cemetery in the
Philippines.
A retired Hawaiian Fruit Packers employee, he was born
December 1910 in the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife: Jean; three
sons: Rudy (Donna) Yasay, Ernest (Debbie) Yasay and Jimmy Yasay; and one
daughter: Marion (Roy) Morita; and nine grandchildren.
