beach-front resorts, has announced it will continue its “Explore Na Pali”
package for travelers this year.
It is designed for the active traveler who
wants to fully explore the North Shore, and includes a four-hour catamaran and
snorkeling tour of Na Pali Coast, a kayak tour on the Hanalei River, a guide
book on hiking Kaua’i’s trails, and a special hiking-oriented gift in addition
to accommodations at Hanalei Colony Resort and a rental car.
The package
includes five nights’ accommodations in a two-bedroom, ocean-view condominium,
and a two-hour, guided tour of Limahuli Garden.
The package price for two
people starts at $1,345 (for low-season travel), which represents a substantial
discount off the usual rack rates for the room, car and activities
involved.
The package is designed for two people, but can be extended to a
party of our for an additional fee. Additional room nights can also be added at
a discounted rate.
Hanalei Colony Resort is a five-acre condominium
property which is the closest resort to the Ha’ena Beach Park start of the
Kalalau Trail near Ke’e Beach.
It offers 48, two-bedroom condominium units
with fully-equipped kitchens and private lana’is, and no telephones,
televisions, stereos and radios.
Nearby is the National Tropical Botanical
Garden’s Limahuli Garden, 17 acres in Limahuli Valley featuring rare and
endangered plants of Hawai’i in an ancient setting, including stone terraces
