Gwendolyn Kamalii Silva of Waipahu, died Jan. 16, 2000, at the age of 70. Born March 17, 1929 in Honolulu, she is survived by sons, Oscar, Patrick and Glenn; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brother, Louis Kamalii, Jr.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapa’a from 9 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Mortuary-Honolulu.
Victorio C. Ruaboro
Victorio Cuaresma Ruaboro, formerly of Kilauea, Kauai, died Jan. 24, 2000, at Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, at the age of 94. He was born Dec. 22, 1905, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
He is survived by four sons: Ricardo (Dionisia) Ruaboro of Puhi; Van (Amelia) Ruaboro, Feliciano (Pilar) Ruaboro, and Javis Ruaboro, all of Kilauea; one daughter: Carmen (Jaime) Jimenez, of Kilauea; 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Burial will be held in the Philippines.
