FOUR FLOORS AND UNDERGROUND PARKING are in the plans for Marriott’s Waiohai
Beach Club, which will be presented to the Kaua’i Planning Commission at its
Thursday, Jan. 27 meeting. The Marriott Corporation is the new owner of the
property, and plans to plow under the existing structures to make way for a new
resort. The project requires various county permits, and has been discussed
before the Po’ipu Beach Resort Association, Rotary Club of Po’ipu Beach, and
other groups by Greg Kamm, project manager.
