Vincent “Ski” Joseph Wisneski, of Kekaha, Kauai, died at Keystone Hospice in Wyndmoor, Pa., on Dec. 4, 1999, at the age of 57. Born in Phoenixville, Pa., on Aug. 19, 1942, he was a retired Police Officer with the County of Kauai and also retired from the Army National Guard.
He is survived by: his wife: Peggy Wisneski of Kekaha, Kauai; one son: Teddy (Tammy) Perreira of Kekaha; five daughters: Jessica (Alan) Kung of Torrance, Calif., Deirdre Wisneski of Honolulu, Oahu; Denise Wisneski of Kekaha, Shawn Wisneski of Hilo, and Amber Wisneski of Kekaha; Amber Wisneski of Kekaha, Kauai; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother: Margaret Wisneski of Phoenixville, Pa., mother-in-law: Elizabeth Lazaro of Waimea, Kauai; two sisters: Mary (Chas) Pobbielski and Teresa Wisneski of Phoenixville, Pa.; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kekaha; service officiated by Father Larry will begin at 3 p.m. followed by burial at the Kekaha Public Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested.
