Edward Manoi, 78, of Waimanalo, died Nov. 21, 1999, in Kailua. Born in Kalaheo, Kaua’i, he was a retired truck driver with HC & D.
He is survived by sons, Lorrin E. and Edward (Paris) II Manoi; Daughters, Jennie Ann P. Manoi, Flaviana K. (Vance) Vidinha, Charlene P. Cruz, Maile Manoi and Edwardian N. (Carl) Grantham; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service is at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Garden Isle Mortuary on Kaua’i. Service is at 12 p.m. with the burial to follow. Aloha attire is suggested.

Oscar K. Ignacio, Sr. of Kapa’a died Nov. 25, 1999 at Queen’s Medical Center. He was 63. Born March 7, 1936, on O’ahu, he was retired from Kaua’i Community Correctional Center.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Darlene Lenharr and Jo-Ann Gloor; sons, Oscar K. Jr.; Steven, Nathan and Owen; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Duenas, Amy Kaui Keawe, Leinaala Simerson and Rachel Igarta.
