The holder for the Hanalei Canoe Club Girls 14 and Under crew exits the canoe at the start line during the Walter Smith Regatta that opened the Garden Island Canoe Racing Association season Saturday. The Hanalei team edged Kilohana in a close 1-2 race in this event. Results will be appearing in a future issue of TGI.
