Senator Mazie Hirono will be on Kaua‘i Feb. 18 to meet with U.S. military veterans of all eras.

Eric Nordmeier, branch manager of the Kaua‘i WorkWise program, said Hirono will discuss the various programs which are available to veterans, and in some cases, their dependents.

Veterans are invited to join any of the roundtable discussions with Hirono at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center, located at 3125 Kapule Highway in Lihu‘e.

Hirono will be discussing “Education and Employment” in the discussion which runs from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m., and “Health Care, Benefits, and Rural Issues” in a roundtable meeting which is scheduled for 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

Call Nordmeier at 274-3056, ext. 11, for more information about this roundtable event.

Employement? Income then? Yep, Hanabusa knows that one well. Hanabusa, a real fraud who pushed for legislators 40%+ pay raises while senate president here...said "we deserve it." She has now been paid more than a million for doing nothing at D.C.

What about inviting teachers to hear their voices? Senators in Hawaii are simply awful. The more education a country has, the more respect for its own citizens and other countries. The more you perpetuate the military life the worst things get.
