The KeAkua Youth Group of All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapa‘a presents Dr. Becky Rhoades of the Kaua‘i Humane Society with a check for $1,139, Friday. The amount represents the sum raised by the youth during a car wash and bake sale Oct. 10 at the church. Following the presentation, the youth group was given a tour of the shelter and shown how their donations will help Kaua‘i’s homeless and lost animals.
