Today through Saturday, traffic will be stopped approximately every 45 minutes at the Wailua Bridge for movement of heavy equipment, a news release says.

Watch for signal people. Exercise caution while driving through this area and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Crews are building a retaining wall as part of the Wailua Cane Haul Bridge widening project. Construction will continue through approximately next fall, providing work for some 100 people.
