LIHU‘E — Members of the mobile team of the Honolulu Consulate General of the Philippines will be on Kaua‘i Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help those on the island who may need consular assistance.
That assistance may be for passports, voter registration, and other consular services, according to a press release from the consulate and Kaua‘i Filipino Community Council.
The location is at the Lihu‘e Civic Center Mo‘ikeha Building first-floor conference room, where the Kaua‘i Planning Commission regularly meets.
In addition to the above-listed services, assistance will be available for those wishing to report births of Filipino children, marriages between two Filipinos or a Filipino and someone of another nationality, dual-citizenship matters, overseas absentee voter registration, and other matters.
The OAV registration period for the next election cycle ends Monday.
