LIHU‘E — There is no time like the present to prepare for the upcoming flu season, health experts said this week.
Runny noses and fevers occur year-round in Hawai‘i, but flu season traditionally begins in the September-October time frame. The state Department of Health is advising individuals to get their annual flu vaccinations as soon as possible.
