LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Community College will offer new training programs in Business Management and Growth beginning Wednesday.

This module in the Entrepreneurship Series provides training in the skills for managing a growing business or non-profit agency.  It focuses on ways to deal creatively with change and to prosper in a dynamic economic environment.

The styles of leadership and management are emphasized that have proven effective in building highly successful organizations, ones that:  empower employees to achieve their full potential, create demand-side products and services that achieve effective market penetration, build lasting customer and client  loyalty, and achieve profitability and sustainability in fluctuating markets.

These kinds of organizations have developed efficient and effective operating and control systems, they utilize employee training and performance oriented evaluation methods that strengthen company morale and output, and they have learned to grow in harmony with market trends and customer preferences.

Learning to manage your organization is learning to manage successful growth and incremental expansion as the foundation for continuing success.

Topics will include: Employee recruitment and training, team building for successful growth, managing personnel, money and operations, developing effective marketing, advertising and sales programs.

To register, call 245-8318. For more information, contact Glenn Hontz at 246-4859 or email hontz@hawaii.edu.
