LIHUE — Three candidates have been chosen to run for three board seats in the 2019 Kauai Island Utility Cooperative Board of Directors election.
Incumbent directors Calvin Murashige, Jan TenBruggencate and Peter Yukimura were confirmed by the nominating committee in December. There were no nominations by petition submitted by the Jan. 10 deadline.
Election packets will be mailed to members. The voting deadline is noon Saturday, March 23.
