Donations contributed at the Kumu’s Cupboard gift wrapping stations at the Kukui Grove Center have double impact, said Elyse Litvack, the Kumu’s Cupboard president. That’s because any money donated to Kumu’s Cupboard from now through the end of December is matched by Grove Farm Company, and the deadline is getting closer.
“Time is running out,” Litvack said. “Donations to a maximum of $5,000 count toward the matching challenge grant from the Grove Farm Co. There are just two more times this week that Kumu’s Cupboard will have gift wrapping. The deadline for the matching grant comes December 28.”
Kumu’s Cupboard is Kauai’s nonprofit organization that provides free school supplies to teachers and other educational staff. It hosts a store adjacent to the Great Harvest Bread Company, and is available for educators to shop on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 7 p.m., Fridays from 3:30 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Kumu’s Cupboard gift wrapping station will be operating on Friday and Saturday on the far wall of the food court, near the Ross Dress for Less store, Litvack said.
Friday hours are from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are available by calling Litvack at 808-212-9450 or visiting kumuscupboard.org.

Aloha Kakou,
Grove Farm is being quite generous lately, it will be interesting to know or find out what Financial reward they may be being grateful in advance for.
