ELEELE — The Kauai County Housing Agency held a blessing for the Lima Ola affordable housing project in Eleele last Monday. The county has also secured a total of $19 million of funding for the project.
The first phase of the housing project will include 38 single-family homes and 111 multi-family dwellings and will commence in early 2019, with vertical construction to begin in 2020.
The Kauai County Housing Agency worked with the Hawaii Housing Finance Development Corporation and Hawaii Senate President Ron Kouchi’s office to secure a $13 million Dwelling Unit Revolving Loan Fund.
