HANALEI — The Department of Public Works is announcing that fencing will be installed in the vicinity of Black Pot Beach Park in Hanalei this week to secure the construction site, as crews begin repairs of the area damaged by the April flood.
HANALEI — The Department of Public Works is announcing that fencing will be installed in the vicinity of Black Pot Beach Park in Hanalei this week to secure the construction site, as crews begin repairs of the area damaged by the April flood.
The fencing will include signage to notify the public of the construction zone. Construction will take place on weekdays, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is expected to last through the end of September.
The scope of work for this project will include dredging/reclaiming of the sand for restoring park lands as well as the back shore.
Fencing will be removed following the completion of this phase of work.
