Anna Piedad Pascual
Anna Piedad Pascual, 91, of Hanamaulu, passed away on Jan. 30, 2018, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. Born on May 12, 1926, in Eleele, she retired as a field worker with McBryde Sugar Company.
She was preceded in death by parents Flora Carmen and Hipolito Piedad, and her loving husband Honorio Pascual.
She is survived by sons Edmund (Cora) Pascual and Ruven (Stacy) Pascual, daughters Fely (Ruben) Lagundino, Delia (Henry) Bumagat and Josie (Jaime) Pablo, grandchildren Ferdinand Lagundino Jr., Sunshine Badua, Ourigner Lagundino, Melissa Pascual, David Lagundino, Leah Gaines, Kathleen Agena, Nathan Lagundino, Joshua Lagundino, Ryan Pascual, Veronica Pablo, Harold Bumagat, Daniel Bumagat, Chanelle Pascual, Maegan Pablo and Keegan Pascual, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 16, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 5 p.m., where services will be held at 6:30 p.m., and again on Saturday, March 17, at Aloha Church Assembly of God in Lihue from 9 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Lunch will follow at Kauai Veterans Center.
The family suggests casual attire.

Cy Fostanes
Cy Fostanes, 76, of Eleele, passed away on Feb. 19, 2018, at his residence.
Born on June 22, 1941, in the Philippines, he was a retired sugar mill worker.
He is survived by wife Benita Fostanes, daughters Lilibeth Fostanes, Merceditas (Augusto) Fostanes, Gina Fostanes, Miriam Fostanes and Nita (Patrick) Nakaula, sons Michael (Rosario) Fostanes, Edgardo (Mellie) Fostanes and Danilo (Luzvie) Fostanes, 10 grandchildren, brothers Dalmacio Fostanes, Teofilo Fostanes and Sefronio Fostanes, sisters Anna Gardner, Wencesia Mangrobang and Salome Romano, and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 17, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa, from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.

Nedra Jane Sullivan
Nedra Jane Sullivan, 84, passed away on March 5, 2018, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home in Omao.
She was born on June 8, 1933, in Oklahoma.
She is survived by daughters Tamara Sullivan and Malana Desilva, son Tom Sullivan, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Florence Close Barmore
Florence Close Barmore, 91, passed away on March 5, 2018, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home.
Born on Oct. 4, 1926, in New York, she was retired as a singer and entertainer.
She is survived by daughter Jaime Gilleran, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Lincoln Takeo Uegawa
Lincoln Takeo Uegawa, 65, of Kapaa, died on Feb. 6, 2018, in Honolulu. He was the retired owner of Pono Dry Cleaning.
He is survived by wife B.J. Uegawa of Kauai, brother Eugene Uegawa of Kauai, sisters Jane Kanda of Honolulu, Amy Kimura of Honolulu, Katy Uegawa of Honolulu and Irene Lekarczyk of California.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Smith’s Tropical Paradise in Wailua. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m.
Services in Honolulu include visitation from 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Nuuanu Memorial Park &Mortuary, with services at 11:30 a.m.
