LIHUE — The County of Kauai Housing Agency announces a public meeting to present the draft Evnvironmental Assessment for the Pua Loke Affordable Housing Development project.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Lihue Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building Conference Room A in Lihu‘e.
The proposed housing development would include up to 60 multi-family affordable rental housing units together with onsite parking areas that would be located in Lihue. The proposed project would accommodate a blend of affordable incomes, and would include units to serve those experiencing homelessness.
The draft Environmental Assessment may be viewed online at kauai.gov/housing
All interested persons who wish to comment on the draft Environmental Assessment may do so at the public meeting, or may submit written comments to Kauai County Housing Agency, 4444 Rice Street, Suite 330, Lihue, Hawaii 96766, Attn: Koa Duncan or via email at kduncan@kauai.gov. All comments received by March 12 will be considered.
