Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. is scheduled to participate in the forum, along with other candidates, Kim Coco Iwamoto, Josh Green, William Espero and Jill Tokuda
This will be the first time all five challengers will be participating in a candidate forum for this year’s primary.
Each candidate will be given 35 minutes to discuss their candidacy; two minutes for an opening and a closing statement with the remaining 31 minutes to be used to answer a set of questions asked by the moderator, Sen. Stanley Chang, from the LGBT Caucus as well as the Labor Caucus.

If you know, Bernard P. Carvalho jr. did not know who Stanley Chang is. Not attending. Really odd, but accepted.
Dumb forum.
One question to Will Espero, why did U.S.A. intervene in the Vietnam war? For Veterans funds or against.
To the Kaua’i mayor, if elected, what do you think you can contribute to Hawai’i and tourism in Hawai’i? How much money did you receive for campaign funds? Where will you live if elected? Move to Oahu. Or not.
To Jill Tokuda; are you for or against raising the GET by 0.5%? If so, why or why not?
Same questions for Kim Coco Iwamoto and Josh Green.
